picture upload - problem with IE 8
I will need two editions of this site. One for business and one for private sales:
*Business:*
600 DIP resolution output, same as merkalt.no
Choose stamp size from 10-12 different sizes (stamp design preview must vary accordingly)
Each stamp size has an uniqe max logo size (if any) and total text lines and max character width.
Logo upload and automatically adapting to B/W 600 DPI and best fit for active stamp size.
User should be able to tell where the logo goes (left, right top, bottom or only logo)
Also keep the standard icons for those who does not have logo but want graphic.
As an alternative it should be an logo-file upload to attach to the order e-mail for manual adaptation. (If so it should add cost to the order total)
Choose from different colors (only one color such as black, blue, red. preview should show the color)
Keep the ability to add more stamp designs (like www.merkalt.no)
Keep the overall site design with the four steps and interactive checkout at the end.
Keep the quantum discount system.
Add delete button on checkout
PayPal payment (as for english merkalt.no version and different customer e-mail content, and unique thank you page)
Cash on delivery payment (adding a shipping fee and different customer e-mail content, and unique thank you page)
Bank transfer payment (adding a shipping fee and different customer e-mail content, and unique thank you page)
Invoice payment (adding a shipping fee and different customer e-mail content, and unique thank you page)

1. Does the “total text lines” you mentioned above mean that number of text lines can be changed depending on selected stamp size?
2. Should the selected for stamp colour be applied to both text and logo (if any selected)?
3. Should Payment methods selection be placed on the same page (with order) or this requires the separate page?
4. Could you explain about “delete button on checkout” must be added with more details?
5. What rules should be applied for logo resizing? Say we have area 22 x 60, if the height/width of the logo will be more than available space, would it be resized keeping the same aspect ratio?

4. If you look at merkalt.no step 4 which is the “shopping cart”. I need it to be like that but I also want each product line to have a delete button so user can delete lines from order easily.
5. Yes. I think it is imprtant to keep aspect ratio. But would it be possible for the user to changes that with mouse moves? Meaning changing the size and aspect ratio on the image just as you can do in any WYSIWYG editor?
6. Each stamp size should have its own price. This could be set in an xml file etc. I also want to keep the desocunt feature that Merkalt has. Also keeping the “FREE” shipping line.

logo and text lines. there could be 3 approaches
1) use buttons (or select from a list) which define alignment.
2) use drag'n'drop functionality. each image or text line could be treated as block. each block should not overlay the borders of other block
3) both fetaures - buttons setup alignments but all 'blocks' are movable
if you need an example - http://www.orderonlinefromeatz.co.uk/motifs/tshirt_designer/tshirt_application/designer.html here you could add some text blocks and move them within allowed area. that is the work of the flasher.
I think maybe 3) is best? Do you have an example? Would the text lines be scalable with mouse moves? Stamps tends to have BIG text in line one and smaller text the following lines. How to solve this without forcing it? Also: I do not think they layout of the examples it very good.
