Task description

Current production procedure:

1. webmaster receives email with attached image for printing (could be jpg image or eps);
2. open Thunderbird;
3. select order mail;
4. save attachments (images) to certain folder;
5. open saved image from email, convert it to eps if needed, add border from another eps file, save resulting file as CMYK image.
6. save resulting file in certain folder.

This is how we hope it could be automated

1. When the webmaster is in thunderbird inbox he hits a hotkey (could be realized via thunderbird plugin) to start executable Corel Draw macros which adds border, convert file, etc.
2. Then we select the next order in Thunderbird manually and do the same

Milestone 1:

Development of the Corel Draw Macros which will handle initial image. It would be better if it would be realized as exe file for example or via command line

Milestone 2:

Development of thunderbird plugin and overall automation. We are not yet completely sure about this - will it be possible to pass image to Macros straight from email for example, will it be possible may be to trigger Macros execution with email receiving event. Please let us know if there are any restrictions in this.

OS & Software Requirements: [please fill - Windows 7], CorelDraw X5 Suite.

You will have a remote access from time to time to the computer where the module will be working.
